Commented on August 1, 2008So bizarre. I always think of all these brands as being separate - an entity unto themselves. But it's a Wal-Mart ABC TNT world, I suppose...

Commented on August 3, 2008Seems like GM can afford to reduce another line to streamline their operations. Thus increasing revenue; something they really need right now.

Commented on August 11, 2008ha! cra-ppy is indeed a bad word. I've tried to use it in a post many a time and it gets overwritten. I agree on GM - seems like they could consolidate some of those brands. It must be hard to get significant marketing behind them, which might be why they've lumped all their brands into a single GM commercial at the olympics..

Commented on September 2, 2009Alot of people are noticing the disappearance of Oldsmoblie and Pontiac from the GM line. I think that in 4 or 5 more years when people's pocketbooks are alittle better they'll bring it back and call it the Pontiac Phoneix(the firebird will rise again). Also a couple years back it seemed like they were more names in the Japanese sector did some of them get slashed? It's sad to see a company or brand just vanish into thin air.

Commented on October 20, 2009Volkswagon may own lambo and bugatti, but they are still made by the original companies, very few parts are interchangeable, except for the gallardo engine and the audi r8. and also the fact that volkswagon does build the engine for bugatti.
where is lotus and tvr.. i didnt see them on there period. tvr is owned by russia now isnt it>?
